Invented by the Americans in the 1950s, karting quickly became a great success in Europe and North America, becoming today the discipline through which almost all the great drivers of motorsport pass.
Karting is a great school of life for young people as well as the best way to learn driving and the meaning of competition and racing. A royal road for tomorrow's automobile champions, Karting is also practiced by enthusiasts who devote all their energy to it. If the kart is basically a machine of simple design, the very high standard of certain competitions can make it a very high-level sport in which ultra-competent professional teams compete.
Currently growing in Quebec, karting is developing in phases according to standardized standards. Perhaps one day we will see another Quebec F1 driver from this discipline.
The spectacle provided by karting events has an intensity rarely seen in motorsport. The proximity of the track, the succession of races during a day, the permanent suspense and the beauty of the fight for victory make it an exciting discipline to experience both for specialists and for the general public.

Karting Trois-Rivières, founded in 1993, is a popular destination for karting enthusiasts in Mauricie. Located on Rang Saint-Charles in Trois-Rivières, the complex offers three outdoor tracks suitable for all ages and levels, with a variety of karts, including children's models, two-seater karts and adult karts.

Founded in 2014, SC Performance Karting offers a 1.2 km outdoor karting track according to FIA standards, a new and used parts counter, a mechanical service, a bistro-bar open year-round. Young people can experience karting accompanied by their parents and there is no maximum age to love this sport!

The LRKC’s mission is to make karting accessible to everyone by offering grassroots racing and providing fun for the entire family. LRKC is a great place for those new to karting and racing in a friendly and collaborative environment. For the experienced racer, it is a chance to compete with a diverse group that includes both beginners and seasoned kart drivers.

The National Capital Kart Club (NCKC) is a non-profit club that promotes safe and competitive karting in the National Capital Region. For enthusiasts ages 8 and up, the club is designed for families looking for weekend activities and exciting competitions. Whether you are a competitor or a karting enthusiast, the NCKC will meet your expectations.

The Quyon circuit has been serving the Ottawa/Gatineau area for 5 decades and is considered by many to be one of the most unique Go Karting tracks around. Owned by a racing family, Le Circuit Quyon promises to offer a friendly atmosphere to all skill and interest levels.
For nearly 50 years, several famous drivers have begun their careers at SH Karting. The Mont-Saint-Hilaire karting track has seen drivers such as Jacques Villeneuve, Patrick Carpentier, Bertrand Godin, Andrew Ranger, Bruno Spengler, Lance Stroll and many others. Its mission is to allow motor sports enthusiasts to live their passion.
