Karting
Invented by the Americans in the 1950s, karting quickly became a great success in Europe and North America, becoming today the discipline through which almost all the great drivers of motorsport pass.
Karting is a great school of life for young people as well as the best way to learn driving and the meaning of competition and racing. A royal road for tomorrow's automobile champions, Karting is also practiced by enthusiasts who devote all their energy to it. If the kart is basically a machine of simple design, the very high standard of certain competitions can make it a very high-level sport in which ultra-competent professional teams compete.
Currently growing in Quebec, karting is developing in phases according to standardized standards. Perhaps one day we will see another Quebec F1 driver from this discipline.
The spectacle provided by karting events has an intensity rarely seen in motorsport. The proximity of the track, the succession of races during a day, the permanent suspense and the beauty of the fight for victory make it an exciting discipline to experience both for specialists and for the general public.
